What’s new at OAKS?
The new season of AMC’s critically acclaimed drama, “OAKS,” premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 9 p.m.
ET on AMC.
The new episode will be available to stream online and on AMC’s mobile apps and Roku channels.
OAKs, which stars Josh Hartnett, Margo Martindale, Matt Walsh, and Nick Van Horn, is based on the life of Dr. James Taggart, who founded the Oak-Hospital-Mountain State Medical Center in San Francisco in the early 1970s.
Hartnetts and Van Horn portray a group of patients who were treated at the Oak hospital before it closed.
Margo Marton is an aging nurse who lives in Los Angeles.
She’s the caretaker of the patient’s daughter, who’s a patient of Hartnitts.
When she gets a tip about a patient suffering from a severe case of terminal cancer, she embarks on a journey to get her hands on it.
The episode is based off of Hartns novel, “The Oaks,” which he wrote with his wife, Elizabeth.

on AMCThe show follows Hartnott’s daughter’s struggle to survive a deadly disease called sarcoma that’s spread to her mother.
This week’s episode will also be available on AMC TV’s mobile app and on Roku channels, as well as on the AMC.com website and on the Oaks mobile app for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows tablets.
