How to get your nursing home’s license reinstated
RIVERBEND — The City of Riverside has restored a nursing home license that was suspended for three years for violating a city ordinance.
The Riverside City Council approved the restoration Monday at a meeting that was adjourned because the council was not in session.
The council voted 8-0 to approve the renewal of the Riverside Nursing Home Association license.
The Riverside Board of Nursing will be given the final say on the matter.
The association is a nonprofit that serves low-income nursing homes.
The association also runs three other nursing homes in Riverside.
It’s unclear what the future holds for the association, which operates six nursing homes, including two in Hamilton and one in West Orange.
