How to Save $200 at the Mall’s Oldest Home
Posted by Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday, September 23, 2018 06:17:50 You can save $200 when you visit Summit Nursing Home.
They’re located at 4th Street and Broadway in Manhattan’s Old Town.
The nursing home is one of a handful of nursing homes to offer its residents free meals.
The New York Times recently wrote, “Summit is home to one of the country’s oldest nursing homes.
The facility opened in 1883.
It is one-fifth the size of its nearest competitors, but its residents are fed from the same kitchen as those living in larger homes.”
It’s also one of only a handful in the country that offers free meals to its residents.
That means the meals will last at least five days and, at times, the nursing home will even have the option to feed a family with one meal a day.
The home’s website features information on how to buy and use a refrigerator, cookers, and more.
Summit is also the home of a new park, the Summit-Emanuel-Chinatown Recreation Center, which will open next summer.
The city plans to install benches and walkways in the park, and the park will also feature a basketball court.
The park will have a playground, a water fountain, a fire pit, and a fitness center.
